ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Real Trips. Honest Guides.
Yup, that’s me.I’m Joshua, an Arizona-based hiker and occasional traveler documenting what scenic trips actually feel like.
The Scenic Sidequest combines firsthand experience, original photography (admittedly, not always taken well) and practical planning details to help everyday travelers explore with more confidence.
Each guide covers what surprised me, what I would do differently, and what you should know before taking the same trip. Hopefully, it helps someone else along the way, but its mostly to help remember my experiences.
